With Alexa built-in, you can use it just like a normal Echo Dot or even better... it has AirPlay 2 built-in so you can stream all your favorite music throughout the house right through the smoke detectors. It also features a Carbon Monoxide detector and a customize nightlight.
PROs - works with HomeKit, AirPlay2, Alexa built-in, Customizable LED light, photoelectric smoke, and electrochemical carbon monoxide alarm, customer service was really available, responsive, and knowledgeable.
CONs - setup with HomeKit needed customer service's help, set up with AirPlay2 had to be requested from customer service for a firmware update (no firmware update request available through the app)
